AS LOCALLY AGREED TO RULES:
- Paint-ins are designed to be one-day seminars taught by teachers from the local area
- Fees for the seminar will range from $10 to $15 per student (additional $2 for non-Chapter members)
- Location for the paint-ins may vary based on the number of sign-ups and site availability
- Schedule 3 to 4 one-day paint-ins per year
- Canvas chapter members to see who they would like to take classes from
- Arrange location and teacher for paint-in
- Write newsletter articles advertising paint-in including registration forms and pictures of projects being taught
- Keep a summary registration document to help determine exactly who is registered and amount to pay teacher
DESCRIPTION:
- Contact selected instructors for availability and contractual specifications
- Advertise paint-in
- Secure location for paint-in
- Determine surface requirements
- Obtain prep instructions and pictures from teacher
OUTPUTS FROM POSITION:
Well run paint-in
COMMITMENT:
- Attend general meetings - 3 hours per month
- Prepare newsletter articles - 2 hours per month
- Organizing the paint-in could include several hours
